What Is Write In Color?
Write in Color is your personalized coaching experience focused on transforming you— the writer — led by me — international journalist and creative entrepreneur. Whether you are beginning your first memoir, penning a major proposal, preparing an important speech, or shaping a college entrance essay, I help you burst through hesitation and clarify the road ahead. I do this through an interactive and nurturing process that will unlock creativity, clarity, and courage so that you can start, develop, and complete your master work.
What Will We Do In The Sessions?
My motivational and inquiry-based approach will leverage reflective and narrative techniques to ask deeper questions and extract deeper insight. In the process, this will help us to shape compelling narrative arcs, and embed lasting depth and meaning in your work—all while fully embracing and championing your unique voice.
During our time together, I will get to know you and personally customize the experience to complete the following steps:

We Will Also Make Space for Higher Vision
Most importantly, you and I will honor this space as a platform for higher vision. This means nurturing an atmosphere of trust, openness, and deep listening—where you are free to share ideas without judgment, hesitation, or the pressure to perform. In our session, nothing is dismissed prematurely, and nothing is forced. Instead, we will allow the ideas and stories that you feel most pulled toward to rise naturally to the surface, gaining clarity, depth, and meaning through reflective conversation.
My Journey To Writing In Color
My Coach's Bio
Since writing my first poem at six years old, writing has opened doors to my God-given vision, purpose, and opportunity across every chapter of my life. It has carried me into newsrooms, onto global stages, and into the lives of millions of readers through publications such as Newsweek, The Economic Times, and The St. Louis American. My work is known for its depth, clarity, and emotional power—rooted not only in elite journalistic training, but in the courage to live fully and write truthfully.
I earned my Bachelor’s in Journalism from Northwestern University and my Master’s from Columbia University, where I refined the narrative and editorial techniques I now share with you. Over the past 20+ years, I’ve served as a journalist, editor, and communications strategist for global organizations, and most recently as an editor for Empowerly and Verizon’s Small Business Digital Ready and Skill Forward initiatives—helping hundreds of writers clarify their message and complete meaningful, life-advancing work.
As the daughter of Nigerian and African-American parents, I was raised in a culture rich with storytelling, spiritual grounding, and a deep belief in human potential. Today, through Write In Color, I bring together elite editorial skill, proven narrative coaching, and wholehearted encouragement to help you write with confidence, authority, and authenticity—and complete the work you feel called to share. ✨✍🏾
